More Evidence Against Pro-Dem Reporter Surfaces
8:42 pm PT, Wednesday, Apr 21, 2004
By Jeff Gannon

WASHINGTON (Talon News) -- "Another document showing that the "Dean of South Dakota Politics" collaborated with Democratic candidates and officeholders has emerged in the last several days.A search of the archived papers of former Sen. James Abourezk (D-SD) revealed that Dave Kranz, then the editor of the Mitchell Republic, consulted with the Democrat's staff on press relations

Kranz is now the chief political reporter for the Sioux Falls Argus Leader, South Dakota's largest newspaper. He was the focus of a 2003 Talon News investigative series about journalistic bias. At the time, Kranz was forced to publicly acknowledge his long-term relationship with Sen. Tom Daschle.

Over three decades, Kranz and the Argus Leader have drawn national attention for instances of bias, even from the New York Times which found its election coverage to be excessively hostile to Republicans.

But all of the criticism came from articles published under Kranz's byline or under his direction. Only recently have a dedicated group of South Dakota "bloggers" discovered and published on their Internet sites documents to prove his active collaboration with Democratic political figures. The web site, "South Dakota Politics," (web site) posts the materials its operator has discovered..."

6. Alas...a bitter lesson: his anti-Daschle lies worked in South Dakota
He was just another disagreeable cog in an otherwise well-oiled Rovian attack machine that effectively smeared Daschle and brought an empty suit to Washington in his place.

The lesson: in a Rove-controlled media environment, the voters can't find their a**es with a flashlight and the People don't have a fighting chance.

7. Republican hypocrit... you're surprised???
Being a total hypocrit is part & parcel of being a Neocon.

Remember when Republicans called themselves "the Party of fiscal responsibility"? Or when they accused Democrats of "Nation Building", "over extending U.S. troops" and even Bush's own: "two entire divisions would have to report 'Not ready for duty'" in the 2000 campaign?

And of course, all of the Republican senators, like Henry Hyde, that blasted Clinton for his infidelity, while they themselve were having affrairs?

The list of Republican hypocrisy is too long to list here. But the fact that a neocon would condemn something that they themselves were actively engaged in at the same time should come as no surprise to anyone.

9. It's not hypocrisy when it applies to them.......................
they're above hypocrisy, supposedly. Being the guiding moral beacon of America means you never have to say you're sorry, or culpable.

Yes, we Democrats are a vicious lot, waiting to pounce upon unsuspecting and virtuous "star journalists" ( :puke: ) so we may grind their bones to make our bread.

10. The part that is special:
But all of the criticism came from articles published under Kranz's byline or under his direction. Only recently have a dedicated group of South Dakota "bloggers" discovered and published on their Internet sites documents to prove his active collaboration with Democratic political figures. The web site, "South Dakota Politics," (web site) posts the materials its operator has discovered.

More Evidence Against Pro-Dem Reporter Surfaces

And now a taste of his own medicine:

The conservative reporter who asked President Bush a loaded question at a news conference last month resigned yesterday after liberal bloggers uncovered his real name and raised questions about his background.

Online Reporter Quits After Liberals' Expose

You know, we seem to see that this is more of the MSM bashing liberals, as the title suggests.

But maybe this is the brand name liberalism that we need...
