A Question : Should Dean be low-key or his "normal" self for tomorrow's
debate? Personally, I don't think he should let up at all. I think he should take his loud and raucous reputation and build on it.

If he goes low-key, he will look defensive and I think that is a bigger danger for his campaign. Just my opinion but that would be my advice to the Governor.

5. I don't think that works anymore
the "magic" may be gone. More and more democrats are paying attention to the race and that does not bode well for Dean.

He should throw us a curveball and refrain from attacking bush that night, be calm, collected. Maybe propose a middle class tax cut??? :) (this issue really hurt him in Iowa)

After all the DU threads that linked to Drudge's report on Dean are we gonna see the new Drudge Gay bashing attack on Clark? Point is all the candidates will be ruthlessly attack in tandem by freeper sock puppets.

They will find something to beat us all up one by one. So are we gonna let them?

3. Be Himself
The media has made too much of the speech in Iowa. I thought it to be really good. I think he has a ton of strength...he's had a tough one with the media and others. I hope he is loud and keeps building on that>

6. Run on his records....
Is Vermont a better or worse place after 12 years of Dean?

You decide.

11. I bet he really does it.
Just not quite as loudly.

It would be a smart move that could effectively kill the scream issue.

9. Dean has always been low key at debates.
The only debate where Dean got prickily was the Rock the Vote one when both Edwards and Sharpton got on him about the Confederate flag.

10. After seeing the weak response to...
the SOTU last night, Dean is the only hope the Democrats have got.

12. He didn't become the "frontrunner" by being low-key.
If someone wants low-key, they can go for Lieberman.

What we need is someone who is passionate about wrenching this country away from the true maniacs: the right-wingers.

So I say, give 'em hell, Howard!

We're not in Britain! Sometimes you're low-key, sometimes you're not.

15. Aggressive and professional.
I agree, weakness makes him look like he erred on Monday.

I'm not certain if Dean should use a gimmick to get rid of the scream issue or not.

16. Dean has a different demeanor for different events....
Debates call for a more professoinal, serious tone. Rallies are for emotional, energizing, spirited enthusiasm.

17. Dean needs to stop letting the crowds get to his head
We cheer when you bring up an issue that's ignored. We chant when we feel it. We applaud at all the appropriate times, and we'll scream and yell to cover you when you act goofy. When we're cheering it's not because you act goofy, it's in spite of it, because we support you. The cheers don't mean "pump your fist more" or "yell without clearing your throat".

Oy vey, and they told us Kucinich wasn't photogenic and he screamed too much?

Put Dean's graceless behavior next to Bush's inability to read at a third grade level, and Dean's got my vote.

18. He should go "Bullworth" on everybody's ass...
And speak bluntly like he has nothing to lose. They'll just spin whatever he says as a "gaffe" or a sign that he's too "angry" possibly due to his treatment in a POW camp... oh wait, that was McCain... nevermind.
