Don't they have to do this vote in Iraq all over again in Oct ? Then
can our troops please come home ? Or does the DoD have plans for further deployments in the region...and will Bush discuss that in his SOTU coming up ? Didn't think so...

2. Or maybe the Dems, in their response time that night could display the map
from Christian Science Monitor showing many of the bases

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=1548348&mesg_id=1548348

and then say to listeners, 'these deployments are why your kids won't be coming home anytime soon' since somebody's got to be at those new bases...

They might also want to discuss the War Powers Act of 1973 and how 'circumstances' mentioned should have been truthful BEFORE sending troops out...but I don't see the Dems being that truthful with the nation any more than Bush's crowd. Please amaze me though ! Please !

3. Kind of
There are two more elections in iraq before the final government will be chosen. the very last one is on december 15, 2005. We aren't going anywhere before that, I bet.

4. troops coming home
No time soon. Bush now has his puppet gov. running things. He has all the oil he and Cheny can consume. The troops will be defending those oil wells until they run dry. Our troops blood runs with Bush's oil. This "election"was nothing more than a scam to get all of Iraq's oil. Bush and Cheny are now set for life,as if they weren't already.
