Leadership Institute: Training ground for conservatives
You have to hand it to these guys for being organized and successful at advancing the RW agenda.

Leadership Institute Alumni

"You have the opportunity to get the same training as many of today's most recognized and respected conservative leaders:"
http://www.leadershipinstitute.org/02TRAINING/training ....
United States Senator Mitch McConnell, Kentucky
Former Governor Jim Gilmore, Virginia
Congressman David McIntosh, Indiana
Congressman Mark Souder, Indiana
Congresswoman JoAnn Davis, Virginia
Congressman Joe Wilson, South Carolina
Grover Norquist, President, Americans for Tax Reform
Ralph Reed, Former Executive Director, Christian Coalition
Rob Anders, Member of Parliament, Canada

Jeff Gannon of Talon News Service, a RW company, recently exposed by Media Matters as the shilling reporter at White House press conferences, is a graduate of LI's "Broadcast School." http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.ph...

I have found one other media alumni of LI, a woman at the NBC affiliate in Nebraska. Here's an excerpt from a graduate profile for Michelle Frey who works as a weekend anchor and reporter for central Nebraskas ABC affiliate, KHGI-TV, in Kearney, Nebraska.

Paving the Way to Balance in the Media
Michelle is paving the way for many conservatives to enter broadcast journalism thanks to the support of the Leadership Institutes donors. Without their generosity, the training of young conservatives would not be possible. Thanks to their continued support, the Leadership Institute continues its work to train and place conservatives in the media and increase the ranks of the at least 97 LI BJS grads who now work full time in television news at networks and local stations.

Hmmm. There are 95 more. Where's that list of media alumni?

2. Humanity is a train wreck
That's what I really think. And people like Grover Norquist are driving it right off the track.

Keep waiting for that WW2 generation to die Grover. Hopefully you'll be alive to see your dream come true.

5. they're not bright or intelligent
but they are dedicated -- and there is no lie they won't tell, or history they won't shred, or fact they won't cover up, or character they won't assasinate, or bribe they won't take....

this is how the game is played -- and this is how we need to play the game in turn.
