If the Dems want to "get religion", here is the handbook
http://www.yuricareport.com/Congress/CongressionalHandbook.pdf

Take a look at this document, which is based on Yurica's paper, "The Blood Guilty Churches"

It systematically dissects Bush's policies and shows that they are not in accord with the teachings of the Bible.

1. Uh, only the wacko fundamentalists view Bush as Christian
Edited on Sat Jan-29-05 01:50 AM by Erika
The rest of the churches have a problem in him destroying a country of innocents who were never a danger to us. Bush wiped away the Golden Rule as if it never existed with his pre-emptive strike policy.

3. I would love to hear 'the rest of the churches' denounce him then
These wacko fundamentalists are evidently in plenty supply. They have a direct line to the White House.

2. Limbaugh preaches from these talking-points.
The other day, Limbaugh was once again railing about how the Democrats want to replace God with Government. Once the swithceroo takes place, the people worship Government as their benefactor and the Democrats gain power as the 'priests' of this new religion.

It is questionable if Rush gives one whit about religion -- or God for that matter. However, he certainly is skilled in preaching the talking-points of religious war against "liberals" and Democrats to benefit the politics of Dear Leader.

Rush Limbaugh is truly a despicable human.

5. Here is a link to a video on the Dominionist Theocratic Agenda
http://www.theocracywatch.org/av/video_dominion.ram

This is an incredible video, and well worth the time to view.

I wish this issue (the Dominionist push for Theocracy in the US) was more widely discussed. I would like to see more exposure in the mainstream media (a Nightline or 60 Minutes piece would be great) and more discussion and awareness in political activism groups.

Until this growing menace is recognized and dealt with, the Dominionists will be able to advance their agenda right under our noses.
