Question re: Insiders posting at DU

As far as I know, Chris Heinz, Elizabeth Edwards and Wes Clark Jr. have been the only campaign insiders--I'm talking inner circle--to reach out to DU. Did I miss anyone?

DU is a nice place to check out where the second and third tier activists are in their political thinking and insights (or, commonly enough, lack thereof). It's not exactly where the people whose information, insights, and advices are ahead of the curve would betray what the real hard thinking going on is. For one thing, Republicans do monitor the site for slips of the kind, and for another all too many vocal DUers are partisans based on pieties and emotional (mis)understandings and wierd idolatries- and these days no professional can afford the waste of time it takes to argue with the idiots.

If I were a pro, I wouldn't post much here either. But I'd have a look. I have heard mentioned that a good amount of Capitol Hill aides and the like do pay attention to what goes on on DU. But DU is Amateur Hour as concerns its groupthink, its utility to people who do Democratic politics for a living is as a PR outlet and feedback source that lets them gauge where the line is defining the Democratic fringe.
