President Bush's chief political adviser told graduates of Jerry Falwell's Liberty University on Saturday to judge leaders on the basis of character.

America needs people who have "the moral clarity and courage to do what's right, regardless of consequence, fashion or fad," Karl Rove said.

"You either have values ingrained in your heart and soul that will not change with the wind, or you don't," he said.

moral clarity is when you stand up AGAINST discrimination, not try to codify it into the constitution.

Moral clarity is when you refuse to support a war fought for oil and lies.

Moral clarity is when you can openly say that extremism of any kind, including christian, is immoral because it always seeks to remove civil rights from individuals.

Where are our leaders? I would love to hear our guys stand up and redefine moral clarity for what it really is - not this hijacked version that the freaks are trying to foist upon America.
