This election did me in. I have been baptized into the Fight Club by means of redneck idiots who drive HUGE gas guzzling trucks with stickers that say Don't Be Stupid, Vote Republican.

I have republican-radar, a sensitivity that causes nausea, disgust, misbelief, and sometimes downright hatred. I am a partison BIGOT, (except I'm disgusted with democrats, too).

I don't know if I'll vote in the next election. I've voted since I was 21. My vote, evidently, does not count. My rage does. Beware, freepers. I am not getting over this. The more I learn, the more pissed I get. Liberals with guns are more dangerous than rednecks with bandanas wrapped around their pointed heads and beer cans between their legs as they cruise Arcadia "coon hunting."

Ask any AA'r who's been around more than 10 years. Let's be realistic, we all get it now that the tolerance we've been preaching about for years in AA is near impossible to achieve, especially where freepers and rednecks are concerned.

I breathe deep breaths everyday practicing "tolerance." Enough is enough. I observe through my slitted eyes whackos cruising the boulevards, up to no good, proud of the Bush stickers they display all over their collosal hummers and I thank god I'm not psychotic enough to do what the inside of my head wants me to.

Yoga is not enough. Buddhism is not enough. Macrobiotic principles is not enough to quell my anger. I was born pissed, I guess and republicans just scratch the surface enough to make me wonder about myself.
