From Virginia: Have a miscarriage, go to jail?

This bill would require any woman in Virginia to notify the police if she has a miscarriage. There is a penalty proposed for non-compliance. I think you guys know what these folks are leading up to. Making abortion a crime in this state is the goal.

4. What a Crock of Typical Repub Crap

I can tell you as someone who has suffered through both a miscarriage and a tubal pregnancy, calling the police would have been the last thing on my mind, had I been alone.

And where would it stop? I knew the exact moment the tubal pregnancy ruptured, but was not aware of what was happening at the time. Ironically, I was at the hospital visiting a relative. I went home, and after several hours (more than 12), ended up back at the hospital.

So did I break this clown's version of what the law should be? I am, quite frankly, fearful of how far these fundie idiots are willing to go to shove their personal agendas down our throats.

We need to fight this idiotic mentality.
