2. No, because it's about class
Black congresscritters are only recently out of enforced poverty. The white males all identify with the wealthy. Although all congresscritters will do well under junta tax policy as part of the wealthy class, blacks remember where they came from.

I won't be voting for my Dem senator. He's cast his lot with disenfranchisement and dictatorship. There is now officially no reason to vote for him. I know he won't stand up for basic rights, and so he can't be trusted to stand up for anything.

4. Not odd at all.
Our Black Cousins have seen this drama a few hundred times too many. Looks like we'd eventually get a clue...

10. And they were incredibly eloquent
The white Republicans, male and female, showed, through their repetitive and scripted remarks, that they just don't have a clue as to what this objection is really all about!

There were several white Democrats who rose in support of the resolution. Including Dennis Kucinich and Barbara Boxer.

13. Did you see Dennis make his speech
when the House first came into session. He was talking about Social Security. He said "Mr. Speaker, call the cops. The American people are getting robbed". I laughed, but he looked mad as hell.

12. I don't find it odd at all.
African-Americans know what it is like to be considered only 3/4's human. They also know what lynching is like. They know what slavery is like. And it's going to be happening to a whole lot of us whites pretty soon. Just keep voting for Republicans and you'll see.

16. Blacks are the ones who have to take the fall
Then again, their supporters are very loyal because their Reps (gasp) actually stand up for them.
