3. Do you think Mr. Curtis tried to get the mainstream media
to report his story? If he did, why wouldn't they? If he didn't, why wouldn't he?

4. When this story first broke I didn't believe it
It sounded half baked because of the glitches with the affidavit etc. but as of now I think this could very well be the really deal. I still wouldn't put anything past Rove and his gang but from a personal standpoint I so hope this is true and they have this programmer very protected. someone is already one dead person from all of this. Repukes will stop at nothing to gain full power.

6. Washington watchdog group meets with programme
While many internet folks have been all over this since yesterday (and on the Election 2004 issue in general for moreone exhausting month now), I can confirm as well that a number of very prominent mainstream media organizations are also currently looking into this. Even several organizations that The BRAD BLOG has been a tad critical of over the last several weeks for not investigating and reporting on so many issues that have long been well-worthy of it. I am glad to see some folks are sitting up and taking notice finally.

The inside-the-beltway ethics group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington has met with programmer Clinton Curtis and is reviewing myriad documents he has provided, RAW STORY has learned.

The group recently wrote the ethics complaint filed by Congressman Chris Bell against House Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) for which DeLay was later admonished by the House Ethics Committee. The Republican-controlled Committee, however, later dismissed Bell’s complaint.

At the advice of House aides, who thus far have declined to go on the record about Curtis’ charge, he met with the group and provided them with documentation on this and previous allegations. Curtis has also charged that his former employer overbilled the state of Florida; that case remains under investigation. They seem interested, they’re looking over the stack of information that I gave them, and I’m trying to get them other affidavits from individuals I told this to many years ago,” Curtis told RAW STORY Tuesday evening.
