Jeb Bush is going to run in 2008
Edited on Fri Dec-03-04 09:33 AM by GingerSnaps
We need to start nwatch up and spell it coffeeow! The rethugs have plans which they are go9ng
We have to work together in order to defend our rights and get the fraudulent election overturned. We also have to make sure the we have a paper trail/receipt after we vote.

I heard on cpan this morning that the rethugs are getting Jeb Bush ready for the 2008 Presidential run. The one important issue is that they are going to run Jeb Bush in 2008 and instill him into office by the way of the BBV system. We must act now because 4 years from now we will be watching the fraud steal office again.

is wondering "why we lost". It's done.

2. Let's start calling him Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich
Or some corruption of it like "Vik" because he is the Government-backed candidate like in Ukraine.

I knew Jeb was going to be the next Boy king. Why change the term limit when you can hand it over to the next Mafia boss.

3. If you want to bring down Jeb Bush, start with his foundation.
Chip away. Find those organizations/private families in each Republican county who financially and politically support him, and then look for graft. You won't have to look hard, if you really try.

43. There is so much to uncover, I just can't see how anyone can
miss it. In Florida, each county and even city is controlled by someone who has strong roots to the area and is usually involved in real estate in one way or other. They just don't stick to the one thing, they grow tentacles into government office and/or the courts. If you want to uncover the graft, take a look at the donation lists over the last two elections, pick out the names that turn up twice, and do legal research on those names.

And for extra bonus points, go to the League of Cities and pull all the available information on pay-outs for lawsuits for the municipalities. You'll need to take someone with a big name, because they'll claim they're a private entity and don't have to honor public records requests, but they do.

4. If we really think it's going to be Jeb
then we should figure out now which democrat is best suited to face him in the general election.

A Floridian? A Southener?
Military backround?
A Woman?
A Liberal? Conservative?

Get those focus groups focusing!

27. As long as those voting machines that don't print rec'pts...
are in use in 28 states, it doesn't matter who we pick to run against him.

As long as the MSM can tear our candidate apart with lies and half truths and we don't have an outlet with which to broadcast the truth, it doesn't matter who we pick to run against him.

Let's not put the cart before the horse. First things first!

who snorted cocaine and was an alcoholic till he was 40 years old...had a couple of DUI, and every business venture that he touched turned into shit.

No, I don't think that him having ANY scandal in his background will scar or smear him.

Remember that the Media Presstitutes work for the Corporations beholden to the Bush Clan and the Republican party.

If he runs.....only a kickass that takes no prisoners but maintains a smile can win.

8. Let them put up Jeb
He doesn't stand a chance, no matter how rigged it is. Americans won't vote for another bushco. By the time 2008 rolls around, this country will be in such a hideous mess that there's no way a rethug will win, let alone a bush.

14. Well that would be the Conventional Wisdom...
That America won't vote for another Bushco.

But then isn't this the same America that wasn't going to give this Bush the re-election? Didn't all of the endless polls show Bush Jr. with an historical deficit when it came to his approval rating and said that this boded very badly for him? Weren't all of the indicators showing that he wasn't going to win this one including the exit polls?

Plus the country is in a mess now....that didn't seem to stop voters. In another four years, we will be so immune to Bush's f*ck ups....that many won't see the mess that is there.

If a President can allow the worst tragedy to occur on our shores and end up benefiting from it, who knows how stupid Americans are going to.

17. No.
I knew bush was going to win. And any President who was in office on Sept 11 would have benefitted from the longing of Americans to rally behind the most obvious symbol of the country. In addition, Americans are not given to supporting dynasties. As far as the mess goes, it's going to be much, much worse by 2008.

59. Have you ever run into a person that believes their own lies?
Do you see any of the same qualities in * as you do with someone like that? Jeb looks like he is a tiny bit brighter then his brother. He doesn't have the same evil smile/smirk. He looks like able which is more frightening than anything else.

My Sister kept commenting on why didn't they run the brother with the brains. Wait a second I had a thought here. Neil Bush has a ton of shady businesses wouldn't he be the one with the brains. I mean you know how the mob has one person that isn't as dumb as the others and they call him the brains because he is the better scammer. That would have to be Neil :scared:

I have a dream OK here it goes. The UN has a party for the Bush crime clan and all of their associates. They send them out invitations to the party and they have these pretty party favors that look like this. :D

36. I have to find the link to the article
They said that behind the scenes that they are priming Jeb for a run and that if he said that he was going to run right now it would cause a "revolution" is so many words. The article mentioned that "Us" the democrats would be more complacent about this election if we didn't know in advance that Jeb was being primed for the 2008 run. Therefore when we do find out about Jeb running it will be too late to fight because laws will be passed and diebold will still be around.

We must do something about the electronic voting and the media or we are screwed. We can't wait anymore either.

49. What are you going to do with your receipt?
I understand the concept of verified voting, where there is a paper trail that can be audited, but if you get a receipt, what are you going to do with it?

If there is an audit, is everyone going to come back to the precinct and turn in their receipt? My precinct is an elementary school. I wonder what the kids would do with all of those little pieces of paper.

Is everyone who voted going to go to the county electoral board and turn in their receipt for the recount? I really don't think very many voters would do that, especially those who voted for the current winner who could lose in a recount.

The only way a paper trail would work is if it stayed at the polling place in a locked container and was turned over to the electoral board without ever being removed from that locked conainer.

So how about that locked container doing a second count. If the receipt were printed so that it could be read by humans and by an optical scanner. The scanner would store the receipts the way the punch cards are stored by that system.

After the polls close, the voting machine total would be compared with the scanner total.

During the month after the election, several precincts would be randomly selected for a hand recount to verify the validity of the two types of machines.

The two types of machines cannot be purchased from the same manufacturer.

I posted this idea before the election. I got several suggestions. Most were to use pencil and paper. Those people have never worked an election. The most creative suggestion was from a man living in Scotland who had an idea to weigh the vote.

I'm from Florida and Jeb is very well liked as a whole, but he is not the ideal candidate to run for President. Hard to believe he's the chimps brother.

Way too many negatives to run a national campaign.

His wife is from Columbia, speaks relatively poor English. That won't fly in the red states. Most red Americans want their first lady to be able to speak better than the hired help they get to do the jobs they turn their noses up at.

His kid was busted for drugs, well published, she went to rehab. Not real sure it took. Rush idiots may give her a pass.

Plus, 8 years of Bush crime machine and asking for 4 more!!! By then they will have consolidated their power base and fade to the background to run things

62. Sounds like the perfect American Family!!!
Welcome Poppyseedman

Don't underestimate the ability for Jeb to rehab his family as presidential material. So far they sound like the perfect American Family?

The only way to keep him out as a contender is strapping on a scandal on Jeb that will make him practically unelectable. I hope the good folks in Florida can take care of that.

63. Thanks for the welcome mat
I watch Jeb pretty close. He's a good politician.

It's going to be hard to nail him with something. He handled his daughter drug problem very well, she actually spent time in jail for contempt, instead of pulling the family strings and making it easy for her.

My guess he doesn't have the "want" to be President.

His wife is a big problem, as First Lady of Florida, you never see her.

I bet 8 of 10 people if asked who is the first lady of Florida they couldn't tell you.

That's being Governor of 5 years!!!

66. Furthermore...
doesn't he come across as less of a "man of the people" than his brother...y'know 'cause he doesn't have that fake Texas cowboy accent?

Wouldn't this make it harder for him to win the crucial "peeing Calvin sticker" vote?

65. "Jeb Bush is going to run in 2008" -- Good! I want a right winger to run
By then, shit will be so bad that there's no way they can win a fair election (stress the word "FAIR"). But if they nominate a moderate like McCain, I'm sure they can win. Personally, I'd love it if Tom Delay ran and won the nomination. The farther right, the bigger landslide for us -- assuming a fair election.

67. I thought Jeb said he was not running
Has he changed his mind? If so, that is probably a good thing...I am less scared of him than I am of Rudy Guiliani or Schwartzenegger if they change the constitution, and the more Republicans running, the better, because it will take longer before they can unite around a nominee, and there will be more bad blood in the party.
