I can't. As much as I believe there was fraud in Ohio, the total acceptance of this election by the entire news media save Keith Olbermann, will be probably make it impossilbe to overturn. And if it is I can't imagine there won't be a fair amount of violence and civil unrest.

However, after watching what is happening in Kiev I think it's the only way to revive our democratic system.

30. I want to see how much the vote changes with this recount.

In other words, I want it done to AT LEAST prove to the 55 million people in the country who give a damn, that our voting system is messed up to the point of being extremely embarassing. I'm not really holding out hope that Kerry will suddenly have thousands more votes than Bush, but I would like to see Kerry pick up thousands of votes to show that we need to WAIT at least two weeks before we start calling the presidential winner. We are an almost evenly divided country these days and it appears we will be for years to come. We can not have the election called for anyone the night of the election. Too many votes will always still be left to be counted.

At this time, I have absolutely no faith in how we vote. I don't want to drop out and give up completely, but for the past two elections I know my vote didn't count. I'm sick of it.

I want them to tear Ohio apart. If Bush still has more votes then I will obviously live with that. I only want this nation and the rest of the world to see how FUBAR we are in selecting our leaders.
