Right after Wolf disses Dean about "Are we Safer" Terror alert goes Orange
Hello? Big announcement after Wolf plays tape of Dean saying "Capturing Saddam has not made America Safer!" And just after the interview with Kerry ends, Wolf announces breathlessly that Tom Ridge will have a special news conference to raise our threat level to Code Orange!

If we are safer why are we supposed to be on next to highest alert? Huh?

3. gee
I want to say "no *)it! in the subject, but don't know if it's allowed, and I had a hard time putting in anything "intellegent."

I thought the same thing when I got the CNN alert in my in-box.

8. Bush has hyped the terror threat in the past to manipulate opinion
about the invasion of Iraq and his agressive foreign policy.

I don't believe the Ridge propaganda office.

10. We Have a Clear Opposition Leader Now
His name is Howard Dean, and he's running for President of the United States.

He's leading. He's setting the agenda.

The stature gap is widening, folks. This is exactly why we have a nominating process.

13. I believe that one less dictator in that region ultimately makes
America safer. Therefore I disagree with Gov. Dean's statement. Not the whole statement. Just the part about America not being safer after Saddam's capture.

However, the unlateral method that Bush used to remove him has made us more insecure. He's right about that, but he's not alone in that view among the other candidates.

14. Can you offfer any hard evidence for your opinion on this?
Or is it just based on another reason to hate Howard Dean?

Mind you, you're entirely free to hate Howard Dean - I just want to know if your opinions on "one less dictator makes us safer" is based on any solid evidence. Thanks in advance.

I like that! I think you've coined a new phrase to describe Bush's foreign policy.

20. But
Considering the decent here at home and lack of world support, I think unlateral is appropriate.

Here are some suggestions:

1. A case of Orange Crush soft drinks.
2. A box of Florida oranges.
3. A bar of Dial (orange-colored) soap ("Orange you glad you used Dial?")
4. A can of frozen orange juice.
5. A jar of Tang.
6. All of the above.
