| 2. I love this quote from his blog: |

Oh and by the way: how come the "Kerry’s winning" part of the election night exit polling is presumed to have been wrong, or tampered with, but the “Moral Values” part of the same polling is graded flawless, and marks the dawn of a new American century?

| 4. He also notes that he will still be "blogging" - and |
|
he will return early, if the situation warrants it.
Can you tell he loves this story?

He said the first or second night that he covered the election irregularities story that nobody in the chain of higher ups objected or even commented for that matter. I think even though MSNBC is nearly intolerable to watch on a regular basis because of all the talking head pundits that do tend to list to the right when they walk, for the most part I'm not convinced that the men in charge are quite as extreme about turning out a point of view as Faux news. I think they have the talking heads they have more to try to compete with ratings then from a truly republican idiot wanting to control information. I saw a study today from the project for excellence in journalism that said that only 14% of what was reported this year was from real investigative journalism and the rest was from talking points type programming where opinion was heavily mixed in.
His comment "and we have another reminder that what you read on the web, no matter how much it might fit your beliefs, anxieties, or even other facts, might still resemble more a game of telephone than actual investigative reporting." I thought that was pretty ironic where he's calling the web out for trying to fit facts into beliefs where most of the print and television media right now are actually trying to tell you what to believe basically CREATE your belief system. Neither system is what we would like but it's all we have right now. I never thought I would miss the news journalists from when I was kid and felt annoyed that some boring news thing was interrupting my cartoons...
Oh and btw Hi Keith!
