3. I humbly suggest "later". Stick around. See how much hell you can raise.

6. The father shooting image is brilliant !
My father (America) is killing people and I can't stop him. The killing goes on and on and I am partly responsible, as a member of the family, but I can't get him to stop, and my family is divided on whether or not to take him down. While we're standing around arguing about whether or not it is ok to tackle poppa and stop the killing, or better to "support pappa right or wrong!" the rest of the neighborhood (the world) is getting ready to solve the problem themselves.

5. It felt like a recurring nightmare, surreal and agonizing and real.
When I woke up in the morning, I could hear CNN blaring down the hall. I faintly heard them state that Kerry was poised to concede, an announcement for which I was not at all prepared.

It felt like a sledgehammer struck me between my shouldblades. I was paralyzed. For the rest of the day I was curled up on the sofa in my bathrobe, every television deliberately turned off. After that, I told friends and family that this was the end of all hope, and I said that I was finished with American politics.

But before the week was over, I realized that my heart was permanently invested in this thing. I would never be able to escape the truth by drowning myself in apathy ever again.

Now, I am more determined than ever to kick the Republicans, their backers, and the media in the fuckin teeth for all of this. I am ready to watch the Republicans implode, take our party back from the current establishment, and systematically destroy the radical right wing!

And if indeed we are doomed to failure by an irrevocably crooked system, I would rather go down fighting, with our self-respect intact, and stand on the righteous side of the history yet to be written. Let's go get those Bush bastards!

10. End of all hope - EXACTLY
That was my day on Nov. 3rd. It was a tearful, devastating day. And an underlying panic as the shock of it all would ease for a second and all the evil would still be running this country. And then my mind would go back into shock. And then I would cry somemore. But I'm determinded, and I PROMISED myself I would not curl up in the fetal position for a year like I did after 2000. Our Kerry group here in PA decided to carry on whether we won or lost. Many, many people are paying attention and are involved and are staying that way for the duration.
