The Biggest Single Reason Why BBV Works....
Everyone assumes *somebody else* is watching to keep the vendors honest.

Friends, Bev has been in touch with hundreds if not thousands of election officials and they cleave mostly into two groups:

1.) The Katherine Harris / J. Kenneth Blackwells who would just as soon cheat as look at you.

2.) The completely computer illiterate clueless types who unknowingly give the vendors the keys and hope for the best.

And, unfortunately, this process has gone on for so long now that no one knows how many elected officials owe their office to BBV cheating.

And thus anyone who demands real auditing or who wants manual recounts is dismissed as a "conspiracy nut"...because if we ever DID look behind the curtain, the absolute mess we would find would turn this country upside down.

1. if the full truth ever comes out
I think we will find that the rethugs have been cheating this way for a long time.

2. Does anybody remember Jeb Bush saying

Chimpy would win Florida by 4% a couple of days BEFORE the election ? I remember discussing it with a friend of mine and joking that he would know only if he could control the counting software.

4. Honestly, for the sake of civil order, we would have to have amnesty...
of some type or another.

Judges, laws, taxes and, yes, wars would come under scrutiny of fraud. Gives me the willies just thinking of the consequences.

6. PS: Remember Scalia's ''irreparable harm'' in 2000?
Did anyone ever get a clear statement from Scalia on what he meant by that?

3. The refusal to believe it might be fraud is amazing, considering the
history of fraud perpetrated by this group. It's not like fraud is new to the bush family.

You're right of course. Fraud is just as (IMO more) likely as a legitimate count, and neither one has been proved.

Only a manual recount can prove this election was legitimate.

The people who sneer at conspiracy theories are operating on FAITH that the votes were accurately counted, since the count has not been independently verified.
At this point they have just as much proof that the election was legitimate as we do that it was defrauded.

5. 1. ) add Cathy Cox SoS, GA to the LIARS/CHEATERS....
2.)Add most of the Democratic party to the clueless. I donated HOURS and HOURS of my time to my local Dem. HQs this year. I gave literature and information to everyone as often as possible about the dangers of BBV. They were in total, clueless denial. They chose to believe that our local election official, GEORGE GILBERT member of 'The Election Center' would never steer them wrong.

Folks, the people placating the general public about BBV are nothing less than criminal and obviously on the take from the DRE vendors. It makes me sick... :puke:

know exactly what I'm talking about.

I have sold software to government agencies, and I'm here to tell you that once you're in, you can do pretty much what ever you want. I'm sure that's what the Urosevich brothers figured out in the late 70's.

10. And, as to why the brothers formed TWO companies....
Look up "sole source vendor". Companies that are granted contracts as "sole source vendors" come under MUCH more scrutiny that companies that win a "competitive bid".

11. I tried to tell our county party chair
about the danger that the optical scan system we use could be attacked, but the response was "Isn't that interesting..." eyes glazing over..."Excuse me, I really have to use the restroom." (Not kidding.) In fairness, at the next meeting she had someone from the election commission to talk a little about the system, but it really didn't help a lot. I also talked to people from three different campaigns, and they did listen and said they would follow up on the specific steps I suggested to neutralize hacking, but I'm not sure it ever got done. Fortunately, we did win the state, so it didn't hurt this time.

12. Look at the Exit Polls, always right until 2000
It makes me highly suspicious that every outcome from 2000 has not been trustworthy, at least in some states.

For the life of me, I have never understood how Katherine Harris got into Congress, unless she managed to move to a very Republican area. She and Jebbie ought to be in jail.
