Why ISN"T Bush worried about Osama?
Am I the only one that thinks this is beyond strange? Doesn't he care or at least want to pretend to care about tracking him down?
It's like he doesn't exist. Even when Bin Laden makes a tape!... nothing. Not even a "we're ramping up efforts to find where he is"...."we're sending more special forces teams to track him down". Zip, Zilch, Nada, Nothing.....

I mean even if he doesn't think about all of the New Yorkers that lost their lives (which by trying to stop the 9/11 comission seems apparent) but Bin Laden was allegedly trying to hit the White House doesn't that keep him up at night? You'd think he'd at least worry about his own family but to go on national television and say he doesn't really think about him. What?!

Anyone...Anyone know the answer Bueller?...Bueller?

just an irritant that occasionally gets in the way of his middle eastern agenda. it was impossible for me to undestand most of what bush does until i accepted the fact that he honestly does not give a shit about anything that does not concern what he wants.

On the surface the claims sound crazy. But after you look at the evidence, at the very least you have to admit that things just do not add up...

11. You've heard his lectures on this topic I hope... if not I have links to
the MP3 versions... roughly 30 megs each and worth the short downloads..... simply amazing what the average American doesn't know about the machinations of their corporate owned government.

8. But Bin Laden is so yesterday. This administration is looking
to tomorrow when they will have complete control of this country. It is not only strange, but downright frightening. We had our chance on Nov. 2, but in spite of our getting the vote out in droves we were still stymied. I would rather think this election was stolen than think there are that many ill-informed, don't give a damn citizens in America. We lost seats in Congress and can't fight back as much as we would like. The Democrats are not being listened to. It is as if we do not exist anymore. We are being taken over by the right wingers even to the extent ABC would not show Saving Private Ryan, one of the most realistic films in years. Freedom of speech is just an expression now, never a reality.

This HAS got to stop. And yet it's only just begun. I can't believe the stupidity of almost everyone I talk to. They are AFRAID to speak. They don't read, watch all aspects of everything, go on the Net, hear opinions ( or at least try to ), in order to distinguish a "base" for themselves. Instead, they just want to be manipulated and say "anything"; and the funniest part about that, is that when you ask them to "explain", they shut up immediately, because they DON"T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. I love that part, because then they really look stupid.

10. It's called a "CONTINUANCE CLAUSE" re: OBL
Why aren't they looking for him and others? Because they are all dead and the Media just keeps fabricating stories about them to keep the War Effort going. I wrote to several newspapers when the OBL tape came out the Friday before the Election, with the new threats. Never heard back from them. Nothing was in the papers about it. Need to do more research and homework.

12. Why would he want to find Osama?
Just think, if he did, he wouldn't be able to play the scare card any longer. So it works in Bush*s favor to keep OBL on the lose, because the stupid sheeple will fall for it, every single time!

18. RE: Your site
I was totally disgusted by the proposals on the ballots this year re: gay marriage / civil unions. Who cares? I am not gay, but I'm tired of other people shoving their religious beliefs on everyone in this Country. I have heard the "sickest" arguments from people who supported those proposals, and have talked myself blue in the face to them. Hopefully, I "stimulated" their dead brain cells. It seems like most of the Country has forgotten why we left Europe to establish this home. I don't believe that most people in this Country are concerned with "moral issues"; and that, too, will come to pass. Excuse me, I have to grab my Bible and get to church.

20. I know how you feel!
My partner is American and is still living in the U.S. but I am Australian. Recently the Australian government along with the Australian Labor Party (our left wing) passed laws in this country banning any and all recognition of same sex marriage.

The ALP supported this, because all they were trying to do was win the fundamentalist vote during our federal election back in October. Did it help them though? Not at all. The ALP lost badly and the end result has been that the very conservative Howard Government has total control over the government. There is just no way to keep the bastards honest any longer.

Now, I get really pissed off when I see people on DU that say the Democrats should drop its support for the LGBT community just to win the fundamentalist vote. That isn't gonna make these idiots vote for the dems.

What the left wing of America needs to do is get behind the Religious LEFT and show total support for them. If we could help make the religious left as big as those sick bastards on the right, well then maybe, we will end up with people actually listening to the true teachings of Jesus, rather than a version that is so twisted you can see the hate dripping from the Bible these idiots hold in their hands.

22. Human Rights
I am so tired of people and the Gov't trying to "inflict" their beliefs / opinions onto everyone else. Like they are responsible for it. Leave my body and my beliefs alone. Can't people just be happy, however they find a way? Isn't life hard enough? I've heard arguments re gays... i.e. "They won't get into Heaven", "They will have to answer to The Maker". So what? I say to them, " So, what are YOU so worried about?" Everyone knows what they are doing in their own minds. STOP TRYING TO MICRO-MANAGE MY LIFE !!!! And, my beliefs for civil rights and what this Country what built upon ( or, so I thought ). Like I said before, I am not gay, but I just don't get it. What ever happened to the separation of church and state?

21. I suspect OBL is dead for a long time now, but if not, he has been
partners with the CIA and his family works with the Bush family....why on earth would they want to hunt down and kill their business partner? It would really piss off the Saudis who are heavily invested in our country and the big corporations.

25. As they said on AAR today,
"God forbid Peace breaks out."

* NEEDS OBL. * NEEDS war (read 'invasion') so he can get his oil and Cheney/Halliburton/all of *'s other buddies can get their $$$$$$$$.

OBL = $$$$$$$$$$

It's that simple. And that disgusting.

* doesn't care about the lives of anyone but himself and his buddies. His RICH buddies.

Edited on Sun Nov-14-04 07:45 AM by Nimrod
We all know that OBL was the best thing to ever happen to the * crime family. * knows it too. He made him puke-inducingly rich, he allowed him to seize and hold power, and he gave him the means to control the minds of millions of stupid people.

Yeah yeah, few dead New Yorkers. Big whoop when there's that much money and power for you to do a Scrooge McDuck into at night.

28. they've bugged him as an asset
One of the best ways to take down a crime gang, is to surveillance
them without their knowing, and use the information gained to spoil
any objectives. If you simply bust the boss, then another boss
arises and you're out of the loop, in potentially a much more
dangerous position. I think they've located osama and are using
him to trace the whole network. As such things take years to time
to expose the lot, i doubt we'll see him in custody for a decade.
