Face-to-face communication with the party decision-makers?

Seems to me it's high time for the rank-and-file to have some serious sit-down discussions with Management, Town-house meeting-style. And soon.

1. Yeah, I agree.
Time the Dems cut back on the trickle-down politics.

3. "Trickle Down Politics" I love it!
Well, I learned today that the 240 members of the DNC will vote in early February on Terry McAuliffe's replacement. One of the homework assignments I gave myself for tonight was to find out who those 240 members are. Depending on what I find out, I may have a connection I don't even know about yet or I may be able to make one.

BTW, Amy Goodman of Pacifica Radio just kicked Tucker Carlson on PBS, and now Rifkin is explaining how Europeans have a higher quality of life. Yeah!

6. Well, here's a start...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_National_Committee

It lists some names of current members. the DNC's own site says there are 440 DNC members, so either 200 do not have the priviliege of voting on the chair or today's CongressDailyPM had a type in it when it reported that 240 DNC members will vote on the chair.

I can't find a list of all 440 members or the voting procedure anywhere on the DNC website (which I find disturbing). Isn't our party a democratic (small d) party? Then why can't we know who the leaders are?

Here are those named on Wikipedia my summary of the description:
Terry McAuliffe
Linda Chavez-Thompson (Labor)
Gloria Molina (CA)
Lottie Shackelford (Little Rock)
Mark Brewer (MI)
Wellington Webb (Denver) (listed in several sources, notably abcnews.com, as a contender for McAuliffe's spot)
Mike Honda (CA)
Ben Johnson (Clintonite)
Susan Turnbull (MD)
Andrew Tobias (literally described on Wikipedia as a guru)
Alice Travis Germond (no description at all)
Maureen White (Human Rights Watch, UNICEF)

The DNC also says that each state and territory's chair is a member, as is that jurisdiction's next highest ranking officer of the opposite sex. Can anybody find this list?

Does the list spark any ideas?

8. Check your state parties' websites
The Chair and Vice Chair are members of the DNC and then each state has a DNC-man and -woman. Most are listed somewhere on the websites.

Or call your party office and ask.

Affinity groups also have members on the DNC.
