HILLARY HAS NEVER SAID SHE PLANS ON RUNNING
why can't people realize this? The idea that she most certainly will run is just more nonsense spread by the right wingers.

Let's wait to see if she has any intentions before all this fighting over it.

1. Thats not true, even on her site last year, there was a question
asked if people would vote for her should she choose to run, she is still feeling the waters so to speak.

2. I've always wondered how this started
I've never heard her say this. It's everyone else who has been putting her name out there.

3. I think she's very happy being a NY Senator
Would you try to run for President if you were her? Or would you sit back and enjoy being an effective and powerful legislator?

4. If I were her, no, especially since
I would realize I would have virtually no chance of winning.

6. They said the same thing when she ran for Senator
by the way. Here's a repost of something I posted about her yesterday:

Same crap that is being said here was said about her then. The right mobilized against her. They tried their tar-and-feathers routine by calling her a carpet bagger. She didn't get saddled with it (like a Kerry would have) because she honestly said something like, "It's true, I haven't lived in NY for a long time. But I am going to listen to you folks and hear what you need, and then I'm going to go fight for you." She embarked on a "Listening Tour", going all over rural (read: religous and conservative) areas of New York and listened to people.

The Repubs constantly refered to her as "Mrs. Clinton" and sneered at her. They hurled abuse and called her names. She ended up looking very sympathetic - like these big mean asshole men were beating up on a nice lady. They cannot fight and smear her the way they would a man. It doesn't work the same way.

She won against them here and they did everything they could to kill her off. She's smart, the smears against her are old news, and I think that the repubs supposedly "drooling" over her running is a smokescreen. She really could win, if given the chance.

8. she won in New York

that's not difficult for a Democrat to do. It also didn't hurt that her opponent was a complete moron who ran a horendous campaign.

That said, the point is she has yet to show she has any intentions of running.

5. I think she will run
She will have a good chance to win the nomination, and it depends on who the Repubs nominate as to her chances to win the presidency.

7. lots of very strong assertions she'd run in 2004
Tweety comes to mind, kept saying "mark my words" blah blah blah.

God there is some real foolishness on TV, isn't there.
