Republicans Don't Even Know Their OWN Kind.
My gloating, beaming ultra-conservative uncle doesn't even seem to know his own kind.

For some background, this man is crazy; he doesn't let his children read Harry Potter books because he thinks they promote witchcraft and satanism, he made his wife quit her high-paying executive job once they got married, and home schools his children so they won't be exposed to the evil outside world, he doesn't even trust them in a catholic school.

Back to today, he was talking about all the republicans who might run in 2008, and kept saying "You know, they say Giuliani, he's got a lot of potential for 2008, or hey, maybe even Schwarzenegger."

Then I told him, "Umm, I don't think the GOP would ever nominate a pro-choice, pro-gay rights candidate, now that the religious right has laid claim to their party."

and he was like "What do you mean? Giuliani and Schwarzenegger aren't pro-choice or pro-gay, they're very conservative."

"Oooooh yes they are, and oh nooooo they aren't", I told him.

"Well we'll see if they don't come around by 2008."

so I just ended it by going "Hmm, can anyone say FLIP FLOP...FLIIIIIIP FLOOOOP.....FLIIIIIIIIIIIIIP FLOOOOOOOP."

He just turned away and started flipping channels on TV.

>>>So yea, these people don't even know the leaders in their own party, and worse yet, these 'values voters' seem to throw their values out the window when it's politically convenient.

per that PIPA study.

Read this article that shows that Republicans are demonstrably proven to be "resistant to information."

4. I'll go you one better ask him if he knows who Grover Norquest is?
I would doubt that the average R/W nut knows who the guy is, but he has planned out the entire agenda of the pug party. Bill Moyers had him on last night jerking his chain. He rolled a video of a woman who made minimum wage trying to support her family (a huge $13,000 annually was her salary). She gets up at 3:30 A.M. and takes one of her children to a neighbor so we can go to work as a waitress. Anyway, Moyers asked Norquest what he would have to say to this woman about the pug agenda, etc. He said he wanted to save her taxes (ha, ha). Moyers had him trapped when he informed him she's below poverty level and doesn't pay taxes. These parasites like Norquest make me sick!
