When does caucusing actually start?

I know it's tomorrow, but is there a certain time during the day that it officially starts?

1. 6:30 CT

2. 06:30 PM...that's when the doors are closed to any further participants

so you must be INSIDE the caucus location by 06:30 PM Iowa time (Central time)....

if you are in Iowa, call the John Kerry caucus hotline to find the location for YOUR caucus..... at 1-866-588-5504


we are having a BIG John Kerry caucus party here in DC starting at 08:30 PM EST, and expect the results to start coming in at 09:30 PM EST....Iowa time in ONE hour earlier...here in DC, we are supporting our Kerry friends in Iowa, and have been working very hard....

3. Business begins at 6:30, but you must be there by 7:00

7:00 is when the division into preference groups takes place. You must be there when that takes place for your vote to count. You should probably get to the caucus location before 6:30, however, to get signed in, get a seat, etc.
