Here's another big F-U coming...
I work for a large law firm that "specializes" in mass tort defense, particularly asbestos (yes, I used to be a plaintiffs' lawyer, and now I work on the dark side, but that's another story and I can look at myself in the mirror every morning).

There was a news item on Reuters today, that the stock of companies who are asbestos defendants rose on the news of the election (companies like Halliburton, e.g., and hundreds of others). Why? The expectation of legislation to "solve" the asbestos litigation "crisis." (Remember that I work for a defense firm ... we make our living from asbestos litigation).

So one of my colleagues came into my office to gloat about Smirk's re-election. "I see you took the Kerry sign off your office door ..." I said, well, first of all, you'd best not gloat unless you want my foot up your ass. Second of all, you DO realize, don't you, that you just voted to fuck yourself out of a job.

And it slowly sunk in, and his gloating smirk turned into a frown and he stalked out of my office. As he left, I added, "Just remember that I TOLD YOU SO -- AND TRIED TO TELL YOU THIS BEFORE THE ELECTION!"

God, repukes can be so DUH!!!!!

said something about yesterday about us getting along "the only hurdle being our political differences, lol!" so I ever-so-sweetly responded, "Oh, my dear, please don't worry, I don't discriminate, that would directly go against my politics."
