As some of you have read -- I am trying to start a boycott of conservative media shows -- starting, of course, with FOX. I taped Hannity tonight so that I could count advertisers without having to listen to him. Please feel free to join in with other FOX shows -- O'Reilly, Gibson, and Cavuto come to mind.
I won't be able to do the Hannity compilation until Sat., but I will post it then -- of course, it will be an every changing list.
My goal is to flood advertisers with complaints and demands that they stop advertising on hate shows. I can't say it will work, but it is action, and it might slow them down at least a little. We can expand to MSNBC later. Look what these guys did in this election was horrible, and they must know we know. Not watching helps you, but it won't stop them. We must clean it up.
If you can join in creating this list of advertisers that advertise regularly on FOX, please join in -- I will compile the list and post it regularly so that we can all send the emails and letters. I have already emailed Media Matters to see if they will join. I haven't heard from them yet, but here is an interesting post from them to help get your blood boiling:
