2. Funny how people listen a little more when they think
that you own a gun....

Want to bet that if the Dems all had guns and started a fully armed march from all over America to Washington that things wouldn't change REAL damn quick? I say we start a million gun march to DC.

5. Considering that the last "Million Mom March"...
consisted of a few hundred people, I think we can safely assume that gun control should remain a dead issue.

There's no excuse for gun control being a Republican issue. The Second Amendment is there for ALL of us. And if you still think the Second Amendment is about hunting geese, you're wrong.

8. exactly...
Thats really what gives power to votes in a democracy.

Votes in general represent people who are willing to take action if needed.

Back in the day before voting and democracy people would just fight and kill each other to get thier way. However some bright people got the idea that this was wasteful and instead of killing each other they would just count thier numbers. Back in those days numbers were usually more important in deciding battles anways.

3. No, no, no, no
Don't you see, that's why Kerry lost in the first place, he wasn't a real alternative.

The Democratic party needs to be more seprate, electrify those who don't see a candidate they can vote for out of the two running, don't ahve people voting for "not-Bush" have them vote for a candidate who they know is different than the status quo.

4. Yes, we need to DROP this anti-gun issue now.
I think we all should be armed to protect ourself against a dangerous government.

6. Point being..single-issue voters.....
heard one woman today say she voted for Bush BERCAUSE she didn't like Theresa Heinz Kerry! Some folks I work with voted for Bush because the NRA endorsed him, others because their ministers said to! ignornace won the election of 2004, with a little push from propoganda....

7. there are a hundred million gun owners in the US...
and they're all eligible to vote. That's a pretty big group of people to piss off on one issue...
