Kerry wins ALL 4 Maine electoral votes! the rumor was FALSE!
There's been some confusion here about a possible split of Maine's electoral vote.

Maine is one of only two states that can split their electoral votes. Tonight, there's been a rumor that Bush had won one electoral vote in Maine.

That rumor is false.

The Portland Press Herald reports that Kerry has won both of Maine's districts and all of Maine's four electoral votes.

In the two Congressional races, Democrats Tom Allen (First District) and Mike Michaud (Second District) are CRUSHING their Republican challengers: 66/38 and 60/38 respectively.
