If Bush wins, its a pyrrhic victory
Bush inherits his own mess and there is noone to blame.

Things aren't going to get better under Bush, the far right will go too far.

4. fully expect Nixon-style ending
but meanwhile, Bush could pick SC judges, kill some more of our kids in Iraq plus a lot more Iraqis, Patriot Act goes wild, etc. Ugly.

5. WELL THAT'S A REAL CONSOLATION
Bush will be in power for four years, appoint some SC Justices, kill a few more million - but HEY! HE HAS TO CLEAR UP HIS OWN MESS!

WELL, NOW I FEEL JUST FINE AND DANDY! ZIP-A-DEE-DEE!

7. Not to mention,
the world will probably get pretty pissed off, due to the collective dumbasses who voted for the bush. I think we'll be hearing from them soon and that scares the hell out of me.

6. Kerry would suffer for it, and so will America, but it needs to be done
4 more years can NOT be handled by this world / even environmentally it's impossible. (besides the big ones as Iraq and such)

8. Didn't we use that excuse two years ago when we got fucked?
These repukes don't care about the mess they're creating, because they can't see it. If Kerry doesn't pull this out, I'm done with even caring. I refuse to worry about the state of this country if no one else does, and I will no longer try to help them clean up their messes.

If that piece of shit wins this election, then there will be no stopping the destruction. The majority in the house and senate have been increased and there will be at least two new appointments to the supreme court within the year. Honestly, how much longer will we be free to even disagree with the occupant of the trash house?

I'm scared, depressed, and disillusioned.

10. Cut the "silver lining" crap!
If Bush wins again, we'll get: more wars in the Middle East, a continuing shredding of what's left of the middle class, further tax cuts for the rich made permanent, further tax breaks to corporations to move jobs overseas, further environmental degradation, the privatizing of Social Security, Patriot Acts III, IV, V, and VI, etc., etc.

Oh, and here's another thing: Bush has said that, given another term, he expects the chance to fill four vacancies on the Supreme Court, including a couple of the current liberal ones. There goes Roe v. Wade, you say. True, but I'm going to make it even worse. I have every reason to expect that, with that sort of cushion, the administration will look to re-open the current SCOTUS's decision on "enemy combatant" status -- and they'll probably get what they want. That means being able to imprison anyone for life without trial, just on the adminstration's say-so.

In short, four more years of the Imperial Presidency, backed by the notion of Bush being the God-Chosen Leader of the God-Chosen Country, this time without the need to worry about having to face another election. I'm quite serious that, by 2008, we may be at the point where there won't be any more elections allowed...or asked for, by the majority of subjects (formerly called citizens).

I'm numb to that.

Face it they can't go much further much faster.

Roe v. Wade? big deal.

enemy combatant? already there.

elections? what makes you think they had them up until now? the perception of elections?

Bush is like the kid who ate too much candy and got sick

12. That's a good way to look at it
IF Bush wins he got to do the "Hard Werk" on fixing his existing messes and any new ones he makes. I honestly don't see this Tard doing anything but make things worse.

Though the American People maybe be reluctant to change presidents during a time of war I think after another 4 years of Shrub with a repuke Congress, this country is going to be in such a dire condition that it will pave the way for the democratic party to make a strong and lasting return to power.

We know with Shrub no major european country will come to our aid in Iraq. We know more and more American soldiers will be killed and maimed in that god forsaken place. We know with Shrub that the twin deficits will only get worse. We know Jobs will continue to be outsourced overseas at an accelerated rate (hello Ohio). And on and on.

THings will start looking up in 2006...let's just keep our heads while the Repukes loose theirs.

14. Welcome to the 21st Century Dark Ages.
Back alley abortions, Evangelical Christian domination, perpetual war, the draft, Patriot Act 2, conservative dominaton of the media, decimation of the Bill of rights, the end of Social Security, the end of Medicare, the end of the middle class, a deeply divided society, and Orwell's 1984 come true.
