Only a few late trickler-inners coming anymore. We vote by mail, and most ballots that are going to be turned in have been turned in.

At least, mine has, and it's the most important one. They can count it and just stop after that.

16. Just to reassure you...

I'm a poll watcher for a couple of precincts in Southern CA. I'm about to go out and check my count, but so far it looks great. I have lists of occasional voters--more than half have already voted and the ones I've reached by phone plan to vote before the polls close--they are very certain (but I'll call them after six if I don't see a red line through their names).

Also, my polling place, which is usually deserted by mid-morning, had voters in every booth when I went to vote at 11. I even had to wait a couple of minutes.

People are revved up.
