Richmond, Virginia -- HEAVY Turnout
Here in Chesterfield County the lines were out the door at 7:00 a.m. Several hundred inside waiting to vote; took about an hour, no flaring tempers, and NOBODY leaving!

I have never seen this kind of turnout in Richmond for an election !

1. I was # 23 in line at 5:45am here in the west end
My brother in eastern henrico was #126 at 6:30am - and he's in a democratic precinct!

GOTV=Kerry Landslide

3. Hey, I'm in Chesterfield too!
Of course, this is my first time voting in a general in C'field, so I have nothing to compare it to.

The Harrowgate precinct (which I gather is a fairly BFE area when you compare it to, say, Midlothian) was hopping already when I got there at 6:12. Mine was the 165th ballot cast at my polling place at 7:02.

5. Ack

I am from that area, living in NorthVa area now...Any chance those are fired up Repukes?

Chesterfield is B/C land except for parts of Southern Chesterfield.

I can't see how we are getting a big K/E pull from those areas.
