I got a letter from Gephardt, bashing Dean.

Gephardt lost my vote in the primary. Yes, he writes the usual about Bush, but more of his letter is bashing a fellow Dem. Sorry, Dick.

Gephart has run the most negative campaign, according to virtualy every political journalist, yet all we hear about is "Dean attacks" or "Kerry attacks", etc. . Sort of odd, isn't it?

I fished it out of my wastebasket to answer your request. "After Newt Gingrich and his right-wing Republicans took over Congress, I fought tooth and nail to stop them from cutting Medicare by $270 billion! But Gov. Dean supported those proposed cuts in Medicare, which would have devastated the health care of millions of American seniors. (2nd sentence was underlined)" To me thats bashing.
