Tomorrow, when you're out working hard for Kerry......
remember this. You might think that driving an extra person or two to the polls won't matter, that making an extra 10 calls won't matter, that it will be ok not to work that last block in the neighborhood -- afterall, what are a couple of extra votes?

At that time, remember that DU has 50,000 members, and many many more friends and visitors. It isn't the extra 5 or 10 votes that I deliver tomorrow that matter; it's that ALL of US are doing it together. It's a MASSIVE, cooperative effort, unprecedented in history. But it WILL take all of US!! And remember Florida 2000. EVERY vote, EVERY effort matters hugely. Together we'll have a huge impact.

The polls are stunningly close. We should be positive and optimistic. But make no mistake about it. The numbers are so close and volatile that we MUST deliver.

Every time tomorrow that I stop to pick up an extra voter, I'll be thinking about all of you out there doing the same thing.

Together, we WILL make a difference.

We must........ we absolutely MUST!!!!!

1. I'm with you!
I got your back and you are dead on! 5 votes gotten by 100,000 people with the same attitude is the difference in this election.

2. It's like taxes and charity donations
One person's contribution alone might not be so meaningful, taken out of context by itself. But when there are thousands or millions of people contributing to an effort, every little bit from each person counts toward the total tally.
