My kickass GOTV day in Florida. (Polk County)
Well my fellow DUers I did GOTV today in Lakeland. I picked up a ballot from a 72 year old that cannot walk very well. Also I took a young man to vote for the very first time. He waited for two hours to vote, when he came out he said to me, "You inspired me and I am going to get my girlfriend to vote tommorrow."

We will win this thing if we fight the ground game hard. The GOP is used to writing checks and watching from the sidelines. If we roll up our sleeves and work hard we will kick their asses right back to Texas (sorry Texas, but better there than DC).

Tommorrow starts at 5 am for me, I am taking food to greeters and poll watchers. And tommorrow night, we rest and wait for a well deserved victory. I hope that each of you does what ever they can and repeat after me, failure is not an option.

Peace and victory are in our hands,

Michael

2. Michael, you ROCK!!
It is so inspirational to hear stories from people out tier in the trenches, doing what needs to be done. You, sir, are a true American hero!

7. Thanks.
As I told two fellow Dems today, "George Bush has done one thing right, he inspired the hell out of me!"

4. My nephew called me today...said he didn't know if he was registered...
I checked and he was and he will vote. But, his wife is registered rather far from where they live and work. I'll be picking her up and making sure she gets to the polls!

8. I'm heading to a poll at 6:45 am as a member of the Kerry
legal team in FL, making sure that everyone who is eligible to vote is given that right. I won't be leaving until the last voter casts his/her vote and the machines are secured and transported to the county elections office. It's going to be a LONG day, but I can't think of a better way to spend it.

9. Yes, tommorrow with hot coffee, umbrellas, seating and good words
At 4am it starts in my house. We will make sure everyone who wants to vote will have that opportunity---with something warm in their belly, words of encouragement and an umbrella as a guard against probable mother nature hiccups.
