7. That's the traditional paradigm, along with good weather
Sadly, we must accept some of the stereotypes with which we're saddled as a group: the worse the weather, the lower the Democratic turnout. It's historical, and it's somewhat explainable as laziness. (Yes, the disenfranchised give up at some point, but that can also be spun as laziness; what IS a fair rejoinder is that it's harder for the poor and workers to get around in inclement whether.)

There is more disgust and hatred of Bush than there is of Kerry, so that should go a long way.
