LOS ANGELES (AP) - Republicans have filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission accusing two Los Angeles radio personalities of "criminal behavior" for attacking a local congressman on-air and endorsing his Democratic opponent.

The National Republican Congressional Committee contends that ongoing criticism of Rep. David Dreier, R-San Dimas, by KFI-AM talk show hosts John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou represents an illegal in-kind donation of more than $25,000 to Dreier's challenger.

"This behavior is illegal and must be appropriately punished," the committee says, adding that violating the law carries a penalty of fines and jail time...

7. It is the height of hypocrisy
However, John and Ken are horrible right wingers who yell at anyone who disagrees with their crap. It's funny that the only reason they are against this guy is because he is on the opposite side of their pet issue-illegal immigration.
They have seemed less conservative lately only because they start out with a stupid point like yesterday -"Sounds like Osama is for Kerry" and then accidentally back themselves into a corner and quietly drop the subject.
Trust me, they are not good guys. And this is a great example of turning on your own.
I just hope this gets laughed out of the courts or, even better, makes the courts take a look at that gasbag Limbaugh who has been polluting the airwaves for 15 years and who I personally hold accountable for the abadonment of civil discourse in this country.

9. As an LA resident I second that...
These guys are rabid right wingers and only break with the party at times for the same reason O"Reilly does. Their egos are so huge they start to believe they are more important than their party.

I haven't listened to them lately but I would guess this issue is the same they were talking about a month ago, where they were going to "sacrifice" one of their own to make a point about illegal immigration.

Think about how much it tells you about them that they think they can decide a candidate can be "sacrificed" for their agenda and that they believe it takes nothing more than their edict for it to be done.
