OBL Doesn't Fucking Care WHO IS PRESIDENT!!!!
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 09:34 PM by Beetwasher
He has his own reasons for doing what he did. He has his own ego, his own motives, his own legend. This was about HIM and maximum exposure. He will try to attack us with Bush as Pres, W/ Kerry as pres, with ANYONE as Pres. That's what he does.

That being said, this is HORRIBLE for Bush. You can tell by the admins reaction they KNOW they are fucked w/ this. Just look at Bush's initial comments. He is a man who is terrified. You can see it in his eyes, in his demeanor...They are TERRIFIED of the possible fallout of this WILD CARD because of the BRILLIANCE of Kerry's strategy up to now. Kerry laid the ground work for Bush to be taken to the woodshed over this tape. Bin Laden is alive and terrorizing us because BUSH let him get away and took his eye off the ball. Everyone knows this now.

There will be a reckoning on Tuesday for Bush AND for the media telling the people now that THIS IS GOOD FOR BUSH. People hear that and get pissed off. They know how they feel, they've heard Kerry, they know Bush fucked up in going to Iraq and letting Bin Laden get away to taunt us and terrorize us now. The ground work was laid by Kerry and there's nothing any media whore can do to spin that and they too will reap the consequences of trying. They are bending over backwards telling us Bin Laden knows Bush is his true enemy and yet somehow is stupid enough to HELP him get elected w/ this tape. People get it. The whoredom is laid bare and rubbing raw against what people know is the truth.

I am so mad right now I could crush my teeth to ash. This fucker is alive and taunting us. I would strangle him w/ my bare hands if I knew where he was. Bush let him go and invaded Iraq instead finishing the job. He will be held accountable for this.

Anger is the ONLY appropriate response to this tape. Anger for Bin Laden, anger for the incompetent, criminal Bush gang. Anger not fear.

2. I thin OBL and hos followers know less about
the difference between Republicans and Democrats in this country than the average American know about the difference between a Shite and a Sunni (vitually nothing).

I think there was a schism in Islam in the 14th century over the caliphate and sunnis and shia splintered into two groups...

4. Ad Kerry is right in saying we need to go after them and kill them.
They are barbarians.

We're not much better, but our populace still thinks we are. But we really will be if Kerry is elected and throws Lyndie England and her S&M friends behind bars so they can practice on each other.

7. If OBL killed 3,000 innocent Americans
and we killed 100,000 Iraqis -- a large percentage of whom were innocent, how does that make us "slightly less barbaric" than al Qaeda?

8. Let's assume, just for the sake of argument, that Osama is who Bush says

he is. Let's assume that he never worked for the CIA at all, doesn't work for them now.

He comes on TV, he repeats what Bush has said about 911.

He says that if US keeps killing Muslims, Americans will not be safe.

Then both Bush and Kerry come out and recite once again the "official" 911 sutras.

Supporters of Bush and Kerry cry out with one voice that America does not listen to terrorists, and more Muslims must be killed.

Meanwhile, the US prepares to kill a great many Muslims in a town with a lot of historic mosques.

Walter Cronkite patiently explains that no matter who you support, or how many votes that person gets, the election will not be "decided" till spring, because legal processes take time.

US continues its "operations" here and there, killing more Muslims, cheered on by a unified populace, gladly funded by a unified taxpayer base.

Looks like Osama was right, whether he is a CIA asset or a sincere Caliphatist is, in light of events on the ground, irrelevant, now isn't it?

You're not safe, and the oilngun gang is richer, and a few billion more people want to kill Americans because a few billion more people loved someone that Americans paid to murder.

So who's running this show? ;)

10. Is anyone listening to what Osama is saying?
If I am to believe the translation on CNN.com, Osama has co-opted US political rhetoric, specifically regarding freedom and security, and has vehemently attacked Bush father and son, as well as their administrations, for providing neither. By including events from 1982 and Israel's invasion of Lebanon, he also implicates the Reagan administration. He remained silent about the Clinton administration this time around, though. I don't wonder why: while he isn't rooting for any particular candidate, his words put him squarely in the ABB camp.

But that's the key: they are just words. Whether we can trust his sincerity in claiming to value freedom and security, especially where the US is concerned, is indeed debatable. But we cannot doubt the implicit threat contained in his warning to us that our security is in our own hands, not those of our leaders. He's holding off until after Election Day to see which way the wind blows, and if a Kerry administration brings more of the same to the Middle East, we can expect more of what he brought us three years ago.

In his effort to spin history, Osama got the chronology mixed up. He attributes the Patriot Act to Poppy's administration. Just check the translation on CNN.com, and you'll see it mixed in with events from Bush 41's time. This oversight, as well as his highly selective version of history designed to justify the actions leading to 9/11, leads me to believe that he's setting us up for something. Regardless of how voters choose, they will choose wrong, and so will vindicate Osama's harsh idea of justice on the US in the all-too-near future.

As I read Osama's words, I was reminded of Satan quoting the Bible in Milton's "Paradise Lost." It's a sad day when our enemies know more about our freedoms and security than our leaders care to. I hope Kerry will prove Osama wrong, take our words back, and give them meaning again.
