I'm guessing she said something to the effect of the reason for Labelle being there was to help bring out the black voters. That might be true. Just as it was noticed that the Repubs had few blacks at their convention, so they must be racist not to include them, it is also noticed that Dems do have black celebrities and politicians involved in public events, so they must be pandering to blacks. Seems like the campaigns can't win for losing.
