Fellow DUers, I'm tapped out...no money. Please give!!!!

I've spent all I can spend, so I'm asking you to step up to the plate if you can. MoveOn wants to air their "He Doesn't Get It" ad in Colorado and secure it for Kerry. Also, the Dems have another deadline today.

I've gone a bit further into debt to help the Dems. Day before yesterday, I spent $70, which is a small fortune for me. I'd max out my credit card if I thought it would secure a Kerry win, but I know that we have to do this together.

Help MoveOn. Help the Dems. Help the people who are making sure this is a fair election.

Now, I'm off to man my local Dem HQ.

We've been contributing to the DNC and local candidates on a more or less monthly basis since we started contributing to Dean early in the primaries. Mr. Nownow and I are lousy at face-to-face stuff, but we both know the money enables these kinds of things -- ads, organization, rallies, you name it. Anything that isn't done by volunteers, we know we have an investment in (edit -- because we know their labor is donated, didn't want anybody to misunderstand). And we look on it as an investment in the future of the country.

I know everyone is scraping the bottom of the barrel! It's the end of the month, plus many of you have been giving right along. Every time MoveOn or the DNC showed me they're going to fight, I've tried to be there for them as much as possible and I'm sure you've all done the same thing.
