Sheesh, you guys, give me a break! Let's not eat each other alive.
I posted something about my fear that polls are headed in the wrong direction, asked for a little emotional support, had to run out to the store...

When I came back I noticed that a lot of people had apparently badmouthed me, and needed to be deleted?

Come on folks. I absolutely hate George Bush, and have hated him for 4 years. There's no reason to be calling me or other anxious people names. I fear for our country. I think it's understandable to be anxious.

I guess there's an unwritten rule here not to express anxiety, and I will be following it from now on.

Anyway, I liked this advice the best:

"Awwwww, Rexy.... just take some oxyconton and go to beddy bye until
Wednesday. Then, you can get up and vote without all this worrying."

That sounds really, really attractive at this point.

1. Buck up
All the news today is bad for Bush, and the last thing he wants is to be on the defensive five days before the election.

no need for that. No need to jump on anybody who expresses a little worry.

3. Rex_Goodheart,
I understand your anxiety. A lot of us have it.

Let's try to stay positive, ok? Your post had a hysterical tone to it; and all of the polls are not going in the "wrong direction."

Chill, Baby! Relax. Kerry is going to win this election!

8. which 50 million people are you referring to?
just wondering.

you seem to be reverse cherry picking poll numbers. There are PLENTY of poll numbers today giving us "Human Race" fans and thereby Kerry fans..a huge boost.

got it?

I apologize for breaking some unwritten rule.

12. Posting a 49/48 poll as evidence of Kerry "losing" isn't going to win a
lot of fans here.

Now is not the time to get overanxious about the polls. Today's revelations about the Bush administration are getting huge airtime. The undecideds will lean toward Kerry. He's going to win this thing.

17. I didn't say Kerry was losing..
I said I was worried because the polls were headed in the wrong direction. I was only seeking a bit of reassurance.

I guess I shouldn't have tried to use this forum as some sort of shrink. LOL

22. Not unless...
You like the S&M school of psychiatry, lol.

Everyone is paranoid and anxious right now. Posting here takes a thick skin, even in calmer times.

And stop watching the polls, they were all wrong last time, this time will be no different.

:hi:

23. Perhaps you should review your post.
Your exact words: "We've now lost the Washington Post poll?"

Sounds pretty clear to me, frankly.

Though, to be fair, I guess you didn't say "losing".

You said, "lost".

15. public polls suck. Kerry's internals are more expensive
and have him doing well.

18. Now is not the time for constructive criticism
Everyone is really tense/excited right now, and nobody wants to hear about a poll that has Kerry moving down (most that I've seen say just the opposite is true). This is a time to rally around John Kerry. There were 80,000 people in Wisconsin to see him and the Boss today. I was nervous earlier in the campaign, but now I KNOW we are going to win.

Also, people always worry about those will low amounts of posts being freepers. If you are not a freeper, eventually people will trust you more as you post more on the site.

24. Here's some advice:
Don't post shit like this.

Geeez!

I had to seriously hold back.

What would be the point of this type of thread?

Do you ever see ME post this type of thread?

No.

This is not a forum for posting "I'm worried we might lose" threads.

You might try
