October Surprise---is that * and BushCo are gonna screw things up SO BAD
so when Kerry takes office he's in a world of hurt.

Maybe they realized that they were gonna lose after the debates. So they decided to throw in the towel, and the HDMX, and the other explosives.

Maybe they decided you know, let's just screw this mother into the ground and crate the MOA screw ups to try to set the Kerry Administration up to fail.

Now, maybe that isn't' the surprise. But, I'm surprised that they thought they were so good that they would win this thing. I'm surprised that they were so smart to let it get this bad. Maybe we hyped KKKarl up to be smarter than he was. Did we really think KKKarl could pull this thing off?

This can't be happening . BushCo can't be imploding, falling apart, crumbling like this. Was it really that easy? Did arrogance and religious righteousness do this. I thought their fight would have been tougher than this. They just seem to have stabbed themselves with a poisoned knife. How are you going to blame the armed forces 2 days before the election. (keep in mind that many of them have already voted) How are you going to lose 400 tons of explosives and accidentally let the story out 7 days before the election? After you've kept it secret for close to a year...after you've held the media @ gunpoint for 4 years?

We are really winning this and they were really that stoopid all along. I mean I knew they were stoopid but...this stoopid. Come on just down right stooooopid.

4. I have often wondere why anyone would want to
run for president after Bush has almost destroyed everything. Most of us would avoid it like the plague. Who would want to do that? Who would want to clean up this huge mess Bush made? It takes some resolve and moxie to go forward with that ambition.

John Kerry is the lighthouse in the storm and as strongly built as any lighthouse ever was.

The turning point I think was the RNC, held in NYC, originally to take advantage of 9-11, but it fell flat on it's ugly face. All of those magnificient thousands of people marching in the streets and on TV was a spectacle to be proud of. The party of hate, as they proved themself to be there, never got their boost from exploiting 9-11 and looked like angry stupid fools, especially when they decided to wear bandaids with purple hearts drawn on them to mock a Vietnam vet, when their own candidate was a deserter.

They destroyed themselves right then and there.

Another, of course was the debates.

John Kerry was so outstanding that he will be unforgettable in the minds of the voters, as well as how stripped naked and stupid our president looked in all his ignorance. For once, the people saw the true leader Kerry and the true frat boy, Bush. It has all been downhill since then and we are in the homestretch with Bush now looking like a crazy man, making wild accusations against Kerry and unable to defend anything he has done or not done during the past four years, and Laura the nation's comforter, looking like a dumpy Stepford plastered up frump and the two spawn looking like bordello queens who giggle a lot.

2. nah, they really are that "stupid"
Throwing in the towel would require they be reality-based and they are not. So I think your premise is faulty although I very much agree that what has happened leading into the election is an outrageous fiasco beyond all comprehension.

My thinking is that they have been in denial about the results of their policies so it has, of course, been nearly impossible to formulate any effective response. They are good at only one thing and that is holding onto power. That they've hung on this long--through their outrageous crimes--is testamony to how good they are at that.

All hat and no cattle sums up not only dumbya, but his adminstration, too. They've focused only on manipulation of public opinion and had absolutely no product (governance).
