Just when everyone is thrilled over the Sox, read this-->
http://www.turkishpress.com/news.asp?id=32082

The team's star pitcher, Curt Schilling, signed off during an ABC television interview with the words: "Make sure you tell everybody to vote, and vote Bush next week" -- a quote gleefully passed on to reporters by President George W. Bush's campaign.

And this IS true, my mother saw it.

12. I don't think anyone ever said that. You have to figure in an
organization as large as a major league team there will diverse views. On the other hand, I do think the symbolism of a team from Boston, winning the championship, coupled with the NE Patriots winning the super bowl last year, is unique.

15. another multimillionaire for bushco
yawn - just too bad he got a stage to blather from - but it probably wouldn't have been any different if St. Louis had won - one of their multimillionaires probably would have done the same thing.

7. Remember when Tom Brady supposedly was backing Kerry
and everyone got so upset? I'm sure they'll get equally upset now, right? RIGHT????

There were even rumors Brady had to call off a fundraiser, though I have no idea if that's true or not.

14. Huh?

Sox in 4 straight over the NL team that won more games than any other team, including 2 games in the NL park with no DH. Cards never even had a lead.

Repeat again?

Schilling is a born-again -- he thanked Jesus for his victory over the yanks in game 5 of the ALCS. Discount.

11. Who Cares...He's A Rent-A-Player
All this fatass cares about is his tax breaks and his investments and how he can make even more money off this thing. In a year or so, he'll be gone from Boston with his bundle of cash, going back to Texas or NASCAR-land.

This dude is as Boston as Bunnypants is a native Texan.
