Important: Ask RCP to include The Economist Poll !

realclearpolitics.com is a right-wing site that compiles polls and averages them. They claim to include ALL polls except some they don't deem precise (like interactive online polls). They have never considered The Economist polls; these are very serious polls with a huge sample. Here's the link to the last one from today:

As you see, Kerry is leading by 4, so the folks at RCP wouldn't like it.

This is very important because MANY newspapers (and I would guess TV and radio stations as well) quote their poll of polls from RCP.

Just read their editorials or the forums. They don't claim to be neutral, but they do claim to consider all polls. Also, their selection of news and editorials is biased to the right.

4. They DO NOT average Dem Corps

They show Dem Corps and Strategic Vision but don't use those polls in their averages. Which makes sense.

They do average robo-polls. They only skip online polls.

6. The Economist uses different methodology

It questioned both the "likely voter" samples used by Newsweek, Gallup, et. al AND telephone polling early on. It's using an interactive poll.
