"War is more obscene than anything any disc jockey could say."
This was actor Richard Belzer's smackdown to Elizabeth Hasselpuke on "The View" today.

They were discussing Howard Stern calling Michael Powell of the FCC yesterday. Silly Eliz. said something about having responsibility when you're on the public airwaves.

Belzer was PISSED. He told her the radio is public so you can just TURN IT OFF if you don't want to listen, then he said this about war being obscene.

He shut her right up. I can't stand her.

3. I saw him being interviewed by Keith Olbermann the night after Chris Reeve
died. He was very eloquent, even in his grief. He spoke up to support stem cell research.

4. What is with Elizabeth, anyway? On survivor she seemed somewhat liberal.
I remember her wearing that long hippie-like headdress that she made herself, etc. She seemed to be a non-conformist and valued individuality. So I was shocked when I found out she was a judgemental right-winger. Makes me wonder if it was her husband who influenced her in that direction. Or maybe she was just what I call a "Burning Man" type--rich kids who like to pretend for a few weeks that they are someone they are not, then they go back to their Lexus, computer, and condo on the beach.

5. She is just disgusting on "The View".
She had a bad day today. All of their guests were Kerry supporters!
Helen Hunt was on and endorsed Kerry and talked about getting out the vote. It was great!

6. I wished I had seen it, but I usually watch Ellen DeGeneres now.

7. I love Ellen's show.
I usually switch to watching it when I've had enough of Hasselpuke.

Star Jones is going to FL to campaign for Kerry over the weekend. GOTV Star!
