Springfield News-leader, MO paper (Bible Belt) endorses John Kerry!!!
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 03:41 PM by vet_against_Bush
In the days after Sept. 11, 2001, President George W. Bush gave this country true leadership. We needed to see a strong president, comforting those who had lost everything and promising to strike back hard at the killers of innocents.

In the three years since, Bush has continued to be a resolute, unwavering leader. His supporters see this as a strength.

What they choose not to see is that Bush's steadfast leadership is taking this country in the wrong direction. It is time for a change. We endorse John Kerry for president.

7. Cashew Chicken from Leongs in Springfield.
Does not get any better. News-leader has traditionally endorsed Repugs. I know. I went to college in Spfd. and lived there ten years. Green Co, is a huge Repug stronghold. Ashcroft is from Spfd. His father was president of Evangel College in Spfd. I had Ashcroft twice for business law at SMS. Tie this all together ....Ok, Cashew Chicken good...Ashcroft bad , Springfield good....Repug politics bad.
