GOP Candidate Files Complaint Against Own Party

According to today's "Boston Globe,"

"...A little-known congressional candidate filed a complaint against his own party with the Federal Election Committee yesterday, contending that the Massachusetts Republican Party has directed money from its federal campaign account to fund candidates for the state Legislature and ignored the congressional field.

Thomas P. Tierney, who is looking to unseat US Representative Martin T. Meehan, Democrat of Lowell, next week, said the state GOP has given congressional campaigns only $590 of the $3.6 million raised for the Massachusetts Republican State Congressional Committee, the party's federal account."It's a giant scam," the Framingham Republican said..."

National party $ only goes to "targeted (when they think the candidate can win) races."

This is a sign that the RNC is basically conceding this race.
