1)Missing explosives story has legs and is reminding last minute deciding voters about the Iraq mess.
2)Early voting in battleground states appears to be favoring Democrats.
3)Kerry just broke 50% in the WP tracking poll.
4)Bush slips and supports civil unions - which is contrary to the Republican platform and is bound to piss off at least a few fundy voters and keep them home.
5)The Red Sox are poised to sweep the Cardinals in the World Series. Meanwhile Bush has been bashing Massachusetts for the last week in a sophomoric attempt to paint Kerry as a "Massachusetts liberal". So Kerry gets a little bounce in New England - maybe enough to put him over the top in New Hampshire and hold unto all ogf the electoral votes in Maine...
We're working hard to make sure both are K/E wins. I'm calling in both states. Back at it tomorrow. Calline NH in the morning and then ME in the evening.
I think the civil union statement will piss off a lot more than just a few fundy voters assuming they hear about it. This is contrary to one of their basic doctrines.
