Does anyone keep getting polled over and over?

My husband has been politically polled by different pollsters at least 4 times in the last couple months. Do all of the polls operate off of the same phone lists or something? It seems strange. I'm not complaining - I'm happy he gets to voice his support for Kerry. :) Just wondering how polling works.

To answer the question--no. I know several people who have been phone polled-but only once.

Once they found out we were not repuke voters!

First lady was polite and said "thank you." The last jerk just hung up!

One time in the 1980s they polled me about what TV shows I watched and then canceled the one I admitted to...since then...nothing!
