My sister's RWing husband said "Bush will win in a landslide"
and I told her I think her "hubby" :eyes: is in for a serious upset. They are so far on the opposite ends of the totem pole politically that they are having serious marital problems. I feed her information and he tells her I'm lying. When she tells me all he watches is Fox news, I tell her it's not me who's lying. What a mess. The guy's not all bad, but he is an avid Bush supporter and since he sees such high turnout in their state (Texas--go figure:eyes:) he thinks Bush will win by a landslide. What an idiot. I just laughed when she told me that.

She saw Clinton and Kerry yesterday and she thought they were magnetic too. This is coming from a person who didn't even know John Kerry until the debates. She's not that politically active, but thinks of herself as a "open-minded," otherwise known as liberal. She really likes Kerry though and knows Bush is an moron.

I don't know if their marriage will hold through this election. I told her to tell her husband not to be sad if Bush loses 'cause Kerry will make an excellent President

2. Poor guy, he probably believes that
Bunnypants didn't run away from 9/11 and that there are WMDs somewhere North, South, East or West of Tikrit (or Baghdad).

20. My hubby is more conservtive than I am, but luckily he is against *
even though he has certain beliefs in common with him. But NCLB was one of the major things that drove him out of teaching, and having two small kids just entering their school years he plans to vote against *. (Well, that is his main reason, but he thinks the war has been mishandled and the economy is worrying him.)

23. This is similar to a discussion
My wife and I had this morning. After we suffered through Mary Matlin on Imus I told my wife that she is married to Jimmy Carvile. She and I could not understand how they are still married. It has to be incredibly tough on any marriage that has party lines drawn though it. My wife is not to politically involved, she relies on me for that , so I can understand the dynamic of your sisters marriage. With the exception of Elaine on Seinfeld who asks about political affiliation on a date? Perfect example of just how divided of a nation we are.

24. Landslide
I took my love, I took it down
Climbed a mountain and I turned around
I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
'Till the landslide brought me down

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life

Well, I've been afraid of changing
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you get bolder
Even children get older
And I'm getting older too

Oh, take my love, take it down
Climb a mountain and turn around
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down

If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will bring it down.
