Kerry favorables higher in Arkansas than Bush
this is from some poll in arkansas between october 18-20. click on the link for more info and questions. i'm just going to include favorables here. also, the link shows edwards has higher favorables than bush and cheney also. bush also has higher UNFAVORABLES than kerry. they also asked favorables about other arkansas politicians like senators and nader also.

<To begin with I'd like to ask your impression of some people in public life. As I read each one, just tell me whether you have a very favorable opinion of that person, a somewhat favorable opinion, a somewhat unfavorable opinion, or a very unfavorable opinion. If you don't recognize a name, just say so. Here's the first one ...

George W. Bush: Favorable, 51 percent; Mixed, 1 percent; Unfavorable, 47 percent; Don't recognize or can't rate, 0 percent; Total name recognition, 100 percent.

John Kerry: Favorable, 53 percent; Mixed, 3 percent; Unfavorable, 43 percent; Don't recognize or can't rate, 2 percent; Total name recognition, 98 percent.>

4. It's not the favorables, it's the unfavorables that win elections.
Bush*s unfavorables are at 47%!!!! I hope this is true. It is almost impossible to win an election with unfavorables that high.

Kerry's unfavorables at 43% represents Bush*s base. That's it 43%.

If these numbers are correct, Kerry should win this state with a little effort. Maybe the Big Dawg will rope it in.
