EARLY TODAY, the live NBC morning show and they are reporting it as missing explosives which are probably in the hands of the insurgents. No comment at all about their reporter, and they played the David Kay video clip of him saying it was looted after the war.
I guess NBC didn't get the memo that they were supposed to be Bush's alibi. Or at least not yet.

1. Yep and my scream just woke the hubby, lol!
Drudge & CNN keep saying, in effect, that NBC DEBUNKS Kerry aka their "embedded reporter" who thinks he was first on the scene and without training can ID explosives.

Yet NBC's site has nothing about their reporter, and as you said, they're showing Kay etc as the explosives being intact until AFTER April 9, 2003.

3. I just wish CNN would take it off their site. Nobody cares about Drudge ..
but based on CNN placing it as their top story on the front page, I expect they are going to give it alot of play when their morning show starts in a few minutes. We'll see.

8. Maybe they are trying to bully NBC, the way they did
with Rather and CBS.

It will be interesting to see if NBC comments, or ignores the flap.

4. Their reporter was Dana Lewis, who is now with Fox.
Fair and balanced, my friends, fair and balanced.

12. You're 100% right. Jim Miki??? is voicing the report, he does not name the
reporter. He says NBC News was embedded.

13. And they won't, it's free Fox pub. if they do.
Good thing the story's bogus, anyway.

Like I said in another thread, this is the same guy (Lewis) who said the soldiers he was with found WMD. It was insecticide.

they have a "scoop" on a big national news story as apparently Drudge at least believes they do.

Perhaps NBC's reporting on the nightly news wasn't quite as thorough and transparent as it should have been?

I see Republican outrage and spittle flying all over mediaworld as a result of their story. See if NBC eventually addresses the issue today. And if they note the fact that their "embeds" didn't arrive until at least a week after other troops had inspected the site and left it unguarded.
