How many of you loathe Rudy Guilliani ?
Edited on Mon Oct-25-04 02:52 PM by nine30
I for one hate the mean and angry look on his face. Despite his supposed 'socially liberal' values, he is one *extremely* partisan Mo*Fu*. He divorced his wife while she lay dying of cancer(I think she is ok now though) for a much younger woman. And with all these photo-ops with *, he is actually laying the ground work for his '08 run, rather than promoting *. Finally, not to forget his frequent vicious invectives against John Kerry for no reason at all.

Even if he manages to win the nomination for '08( I doubt he will, because 9/11 will be a distant memory by then and he will be going up against the more likable McCain), I would like to see John Kerry beat the hell out of him.

Oh, and another a**hole is Bernard Kerik, the ex NYPD chief.

3. More than words can say...
I live in NY, had 2 friends killed at the WTC, and on Sept. 10 his ratings were in the toilet. He had his mistress living in the mayor's house with his wife and children. The very next day he becomes immortal.

Since then all he has done has whore himself out and make millions off the backs of dead people, giuving speeches for millions on 9/11.

There arent words to express my hatred, disdain, disgust and revoltion.

:kick:

6. I think you are confusing him with Newt Gingrich
It was Newt who asked his wife for a divorce while she was in the hospital with cancer. Not that Giuliani isn't a prick. But I hate him for the way he exploited the WTC dead at the RNC convention.

15. Oh yeah, that was Gingrich
Ghoul is the one who had his girlfriend living at the mansion while his wife and son were still there and his wife found out about the divorce on tv. The Repukes just keep trying to outdo each other with their family values huh?

He's also making a fortune on the anthrax cleanup.

18. I agree. But Guiliani did do his now ex-wife wrong. Insisted he move
his little cutie into the mayor's mansion with him before his divorce from Donna Hanover was final - AND their children were still living in the mayor's mansion with her. He wanted his cake, and wanted to eat it, too. It's not quite as bad as what newt did to his wife, who WAS in the cancer ward when he served her with divorce papers (he had a cutie on his arm whom he wanted to parade around with, more publicly) but still was widely regarded as tacky. In fact, that was one thing whispered about Rudy-baby that would make him undesirable with some voters, particularly women. If he comes back as some sort of viable national candidate, don't worry - this will again rear its ugly head (directly next to his own).

9. Would Rudy trade Bush for a president who READ the HartRudman Report
on Global Terror that was handed to him on Jan 30, 2001, and then acted on its urgent proposals for Homeland Security?

I'd LOVE to hear Rudy, Kerik or ANY Republican answer THAT question.

10. Guilliani is a prick.
And you need to be a bit of a prick to be the mayor of a town like NYC. Every mayor I can remember presiding over NYC with any capacity for control was a prick. And while I didn't always agree with Guilliani, he was at least a consistant prick that tried to make good decisions. And the fact that he broke with his party to go against D'amato's boy Pataki for Governor indicated to me that he wasn't a complete shill.

However, his endorsement of Bush is a major disappointment, second only to McCain's ever-foggy-eyed used car salesman pitch for Bush. I guess I expected MORE from Guilliani. Like I said, I didn't always agree with him on things, on how he chose to run the city, on the "moral" decisions he made. But he could usually be counted on NOT to tolerate obviously stupid bullshit. And if there's a better description of George W. Bush, I don't know it.

20. Agree with you on this one!
I will say that at least he wasn't hiding on 9-11 but his actions have diminished even that in my eyes.

11. I live in New York
I despised his policies before and after September 11th. Admired his guts and fortitude afterwards. Now I find him a gutless whore.
Does anyone believe on September 11th he turned to his police commisioner and said , "Thank God george bush is in the White House!"

That is the most outrageous lie I have heard in a long, long time.

What a disgusting man.

Can't say I hate the man, though. I'm not going to argue with people who do, however. He almost invites people to hate him.

22. I don't GET him, he's really noble by refusing blood money after 9/11
but then he completely SELLS out for Bush and doesn't demand the truth. So, the fact that he refused blood money and then turns around and allows the blood to rot in the streets of NY because the 3000 people have never been vindicated, I would say, Guilliani is a traitor.

23. Can't Stand Him
He did no more for his city on 9/11 than any other mayor would have done. Why do they try to make him a hero? I heard someone call him the Mayor of America or something similar and I thought, "he may be your mayor but he sure isn't mine".
